Paula Muollo was born and raised in Island Bay and loves the South Coast. She has Italian heritage and is part of the Muollo and Basile families, who have been prominent in the seafood industry in Wellington for generations. When she was growing up, her parents Raffaele and Josephine Muollo instilled the values of respect, integrity, honesty, and hard work. Paula started her career at BNZ Finance, moving onto Wellington’s events and tourism sectors. She has had over 13 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, managing Hotel Raffaele in Oriental Bay. For the past 12 years, she has carved out a successful career as one of the top real estate agents at Harcourts, helping to start Wellingtonians on the property ladder or into their dream home.

In her job as one of the leading property sales agents in Wellington, Paula sees people’s aspirations for the city every day, witnessing their passion and investment in Wellington. But at the same time, she is frustrated that things aren’t right at the Council. “We can’t even rely on Council to get the basics done. This needs to change, so I’m standing to bring a positive voice to push for progress for our beautiful city,” she says.
